The Marr Comapnies are seeking a Corporate Safety Representative to work with all four companies: Daniel Marr & Son, Marr Scaffolding Company, Marr Crane & Rigging and Isaac Blair & Co., Inc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Safety Representative is responsible for the implementation of all safety programs/policies on company job sites as well as company business locations.  The Safety Rep assists in the establishment and communication of safety policies and procedures, conducts job site inspections, investigates incidents/accidents and performs safety training.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree with concentration in a safety-related field.

Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification A MUST; OSHA 500 desireable. Must have good working knowledge of OSHA and ANSI construction standards.  Familiarity with cranes standards a plus.

Requirements include strong communication and leadership skills, analytical and presentation skills.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

EXPERIENCE:

Five to seven years practical experience in commercial construction safety concepts and procedures including crane regulations, scaffolding, steel erection, mast climbers and rigging.
