Wind Turbine Test Facility, Charlestown, MA
Daniel Marr & Son Company is erecting the Wind Turbine Test Facility for Cives Steel and General Contractor, Turner Construction Company. In an aggressive six-week schedule, 11 bays of triangular-shaped pipe trusses requiring 100 tons of steel will be erected. The truss columns are 80'high and the roof trusses are 140'long creating a 45,000-square-foot testing space.

Bay State Medical Center -- Springfield, MA
Daniel Marr & Son is erecting the 13-story new ambulatory care center at Bay State Medical Center for William A. Berry. Approximately 1350 tons of steel was fabricated by Cives Steel for the project.

Daniel Marr & Son has erected the structural steel for Walsh Brothers on the new Student Village project at Boston University.

1330 Boylston Street, Boston, MA
Daniel Marr & Son is erecting 3,000 tons of structural steel and 500,000 square feet of metal decking to build a 16-story mixed-use project. The steel fabricator is Novel Iron Works and the general contractor is Suffolk Construction. The steel erection is approximately 60% complete and is expected to be topped off this August.

Brigham and Women's Hospital
At 70 Francis Street, Daniel Marr & Son recently completed the steel erection for this new structure at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

The Green Monster Seats
For Walsh Brothers, Daniel Marr & Son just completed the installation of the structural steel and pre-cast concrete for approximately 280 new seats at Boston's Fenway Park. The seats are located in left field directly behind the famed Green Monster. Construction began late February 2003 and was completed 5 weeks later, as the park is readied for Opening Day 2003.
